For\u00a0those who missed out on the (very) popular Ch\u00e2teau Canon, this wine from\u00a0Nicolas Thienpont is\u00a0one to consider. \u00a0A well-priced, high performing St Emilion Grand Cru Class\u00e9, with &#8216;<em>98-99 points<\/em>&#8216; from James Suckling and described by Neil Martin as &#8216;<em>an excellent Larcis-Ducasse that should offer 3-4 decades of drinking pleasure<\/em>.&#8217; It is worth bearing in mind that the 2005 vintage of this wine is now trading for more than \u00a31700 and the 2010 at \u00a3900, so this has to be recommended at \u00a3480.<\/p>\n<p>Also out are three solid St Julien performers:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.leaandsandeman.co.uk\/wine\/2015-CHATEAU-GLORIA-Cru-Bourgeois-Saint-Julien-23350-00.html?category=261\">2015\u00a0CH\u00c2TEAU GLORIA<\/a> (\u00a3285) this is up on last year, but still recommended as this is a wine you will be delighted to have in your cellar.
