{"id":26262,"date":"2016-10-21T17:38:20","date_gmt":"2016-10-21T16:38:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.leaandsandeman.co.uk\/blog\/?p=26262"},"modified":"2016-11-04T15:56:45","modified_gmt":"2016-11-04T15:56:45","slug":"fantastic-franciacorta","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.leaandsandeman.co.uk\/blog\/2016\/10\/fantastic-franciacorta\/","title":{"rendered":"Fantastic Franciacorta!"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3><em><strong>Whenever we are in Italy, we enjoy the great Champagne look-a-likes of Franciacorta (from Lombardy, in Northern Italy), and easily understand why these great wines have such a following in their home market, even though the Italians are great connoisseurs and consumers of Champagne as well.<\/strong><\/em><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-26267\" src=\"https:\/\/blog-2207a.kxcdn.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/map.jpg\" alt=\"map\" width=\"577\" height=\"275\" \/><br \/>\nThe price of Franciacorta has always seemed prohibitive for the London market which is so very competitive, and it seemed too uphill a task to try to persuade you that you should buy Franciacorta instead of Champagne.<\/h3>\n<p>We are therefore delighted to introduce the wines of <a href=\"https:\/\/leaandsandeman.us6.list-manage1.com\/track\/click?u=5a86100c59&amp;id=51cf79ffd7&amp;e=f026a4ffad\"><strong>Corte Aura<\/strong><\/a>, an estate founded by Federico Fossati who left a career in accountancy to chase his dream of making wine, having paired up with the experienced wine maker Pierangelo Bonomi.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-26273 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/blog-2207a.kxcdn.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/corteaura.png\" alt=\"corteaura\" width=\"200\" height=\"119\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This pair understand that they have to be competitive in this market if they want to succeed.
