It received some superb scores from the critics, with <strong>93-95 from Neal Martin<\/strong>, <strong>17+ from Jancis Robinson<\/strong> and <strong>95-96 from James Suckling<\/strong>.\u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-27047\" src=\"https:\/\/blog-2207a.kxcdn.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/Cha\u0302teau-Batailley-Art.jpg\" alt=\"Ch\u00e2teau Batailley Art\" width=\"283\" height=\"216\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Jane Anson, Decanter, says:<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;A lovely vintage that has power but is just the right side of big extraction. Good persistency with a coffee-scented finish. This is a buy, for sure.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Also out today is\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.leaandsandeman.co.uk\/wine\/2016-CHATEAU-LILIAN-LADOUYS-Cru-Bourgeois-Superieur-Saint-Estephe-27030-00.html?category=261\">CH\u00c2TEAU LILIAN LADOUYS<\/a>\u00a0St-Est\u00e8phe priced very sensibly at <strong>\u00a3170 per case of 12 IB<\/strong>. A solid performer over recent years and 2016 is no different, with <strong>Neal Martin giving it 91-93 points<\/strong>, very respectable at this price point. This will offer plenty of enjoyment over the next two decades with little damage to the bank account.
