There&#8217;s bags of structure filled out by gorgeous, sweet hedgerow fruit. The whole thing has the drive and texture you&#8217;d normally associate with wines\u00a0way above this level. Jancis loved it too, giving it 16.5++ and calling it &#8216;flattering&#8217; and &#8216;alluring.&#8217; The price is pretty attractive too at <strong>\u00a3200 per 12\u00a0bottles IB\u00a0<\/strong>which is well within our estimate. This\u00a0comes very highly recommended indeed.<\/p>\n<p>Also great value, but this time from the right bank, is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.leaandsandeman.co.uk\/wine\/2016-CHATEAU-ALCEE-Cotes-de-Castillon-27155-00.html?category=261\">CH\u00c2TEAU ALC\u00c9E<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.leaandsandeman.co.uk\/wine\/2016-CHATEAU-ALCEE-Cotes-de-Castillon-27155-00.html?category=261\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/blog-2207a.kxcdn.com\/images\/favicon-Circular.png\" width=\"15\" height=\"15\" \/><\/a>\u00a0in the\u00a0C\u00f4tes des Francs released at <strong>\u00a3123 per 12 bottles IB<\/strong>. This is part of the\u00a0Nicolas Thienpont stable and that wine-making class shines through. There&#8217;s really impressive concentration, balance and length here.
