The\u00a0Chateaux certainly believe they have produced something very special, wines that\u00a0are blessed with genuine greatness. The critics seem to agree. L\u00e9oville Las Cases, L&#8217;\u00c9glise-Clinet and Ausone are all touching 100 points. Sadly, but perhaps unsurprisingly, the pricing reflects the hype and the high scores. Nevertheless, if you want to secure a case of something very special for your cellar then they are worth a look.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.leaandsandeman.co.uk\/wine\/2016-CHATEAU-LEOVILLE-LAS-CASES-2eme-Cru-Classe-Saint-Julien-26965-00.html?category=120\">L\u00c9OVILLE LAS CASES<\/a> is out at <strong>\u00a31,050 per 6 bottles IB<\/strong>. This\u00a0left Neal Martin struggling for superlatives, &#8216;<em>it is the intensity, depth and arching structure that astounds, with detail on the finish that rivets your feet to the spot<\/em>&#8230;&#8217; He summed it up as, &#8216;<em>awe-inspiring&#8217;<\/em>. Other critics loved this\u00a0too &#8211; Jane Anson scored it 99\/100, James Molesworth 96-100\/100, Galloni 95-98+\/100.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.leaandsandeman.co.uk\/wine\/2016-CHATEAU-L-EGLISE-CLINET-Pomerol-26957-00.html?category=124\">L&#8217;\u00c9GLISE CLINET<\/a> has been released at\u00a0<strong>\u00a31,350 per 6 bottles IB<\/strong>. Neal Martin rated this 97-99\/100 and described it as &#8216;<em>nothing less than a brilliant wine from Denis Durantou, undoubtedly one of the stars of the vintage<\/em>.&#8217;\u00a0Jane Anson rated it 98\/100, James Molesworth 94-97\/100, Galloni 96-99\/100.\u00a0Also from the Durantou stable is\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.leaandsandeman.co.uk\/wine\/2016-LA-PETITE-EGLISE-Pomerol-26946-00.html?category=124\">LA PETITE \u00c9GLISE<\/a> released at\u00a0<strong>\u00a3180 per 6 bottles IB<\/strong>.\u00a0For those not seeking trophy wines, this\u00a0looks a strong buy. It shows off the outstanding quality of the Merlot at this property without breaking the bank. Galloni rated it 90-93\/100 and called it, &#8216;<em>sexy and racy in the glass, with tons of aromatic nuance and mid-palate unctuousness, the Petite Eglise is a terrific introduction to the house style. Readers who can find it should not hesitate<\/em>.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>The 98-100\/100 rated\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.leaandsandeman.co.uk\/wine\/2016-CHATEAU-AUSONE-1er-Grand-Cru-Classe-Saint-Emilion-26968-00.html?category=123\">AUSONE<\/a> is also out at <strong>\u00a31,800 per 3 bottles IB<\/strong>. We only have minuscule volumes of this but do let us know of your interest and we will try and find some for you. Also out is the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.leaandsandeman.co.uk\/wine\/2016-LA-CHAPELLE-D-AUSONE-Grand-Cru-Saint-Emilion-26941-00.html?category=123\">LA CHAPELLE D&#8217;AUSONE<\/a>\u00a0at <strong>\u00a3870 per 6 bottles IB<\/strong>.\u00a0Neal Martin gave this 93-95\/100 and described it as, &#8216;<em>just a fabulous Deuxi\u00e8me Vin<\/em>.&#8217; We were very impressed as well. This has more than a\u00a0sprinkling of the grand vin magic at a (slightly) more\u00a0accessible price.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, a second tranche has been released by\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.leaandsandeman.co.uk\/wine\/2016-CHATEAU-MONTROSE-2eme-Cru-Classe-Saint-Estephe-27033-00.html?category=118\">CH\u00c2TEAU MONTROSE<\/a>\u00a0at <strong>\u00a3740 per 6 bottles IB<\/strong>.
