But\u00a0is it\u00a0enough? Wily old Alfred Tesseron may be able to get away with pricing his 2011 above current prices of\u00a0more mature\u00a0vintages, but Pontet Canet has the wind in its sails and also has the lightly tossed-off remark of Le Grand Bob that it&#8217;s a wine of &#8216;first growth potential&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.leaandsandeman.co.uk\/wine\/2011-chateau-le-bon-pasteur-pomerol-16712-00.html?category=261\">Bon Pasteur\u00a0in Pomerol <\/a><\/strong>at <strong>\u00a3395<\/strong> (whatever nice remarks Robert Parker may make about Dany and\u00a0Michel Rolland, the owners) does not benefit from quite the same strength of brand and looks pricey at this level. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.leaandsandeman.co.uk\/wine\/2011-chateau-malescot-saint-exupery-3eme-cru-classe-margaux-16856-00.html?category=261\">Malescot Saint Exup\u00e9ry in Margaux<\/a> (\u00a3370) <\/strong> has come down by a bigger percentage, but it&#8217;s a wine which did not make the cut into my offer and not one\u00a0I can get too excited about, <em><strong>but still\u00a0available to order if there are any fans out there!<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Also out today\u00a0is <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.leaandsandeman.co.uk\/wine\/2011-chateau-grand-corbin-despagne-grand-cru-saint-emilion-16929-00.html?category=261\">Grand Corbin Despagne<\/a><\/strong>, an honest wine at a sensible price,\u00a0but I preferred its neighbour Corbin as mentioned yesterday.<\/p>\n<p>Altogether one might have hoped for a bit more action today, given the shortness of the week.
