The wine has a touch of sweetness and is able to resonate with the bold, richness of the dish and its fine acidity will cut through the meatiness and give balance to the finish.<\/p>\n<p>For the red wine I have chosen the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.leaandsandeman.co.uk\/wine\/2019-ARTUKE-Rioja-37100-00.html\">Artuke Rioja 2019 Bodegas y Vinedos Artuke<\/a> Rioja Spain (organic). This vibrant unwooded Tempranillo will bring the necessary juiciness to partner the Cumberland sausage, the tender texture of the chicken will be respected by the wines soft, supple mouthfeel and its floral notes and berry flavours will add complexity to the curry.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Our recommendations<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>For our part we would probably follow Sergio\u2019s thinking and recommend a textured aromatic white, for us the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.leaandsandeman.co.uk\/wine\/2018-KERNER-Manni-Nossing-36868-00.html\">Kerner 2018 from Manni N\u00f6ssing<\/a> in Italy\u2019s Alto Adige. With it\u2019s Alpine flowers and herb scents and gloriously textured, slightly spicy, oily mouthfeel, we think it would match up beautifully.<\/p>\n<p>For a red it has to be the scintillating, perfumed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.leaandsandeman.co.uk\/wine\/2017-ONE-BLOCK-Yellingbo-Yarra-Valley-Syrah-30433-00.html\">One Block \u2018Yellingbo\u2019 Syrah 2017 Yarra Valley<\/a> Victoria Australia from Jayden Ong.
