Three bottles of Chablis: Petit, Village and Premier Cru, whisked their way out to attendees before the hour and a half long chat began.<\/p>\n<p>With questions answered like \u2018<em>What on earth is Chablis?<\/em>\u2019, \u2018<em>Why is it such good value next to the other famous regions in Burgundy?<\/em>\u2019 and \u2018<em>Why is the soil named after a village in Dorset?<\/em>\u2019 answered, everyone seemed to enjoy the wine and walk (or zoom) away with a greater understanding of the region.<\/p>\n<div style=\"border: 1px solid lightgrey; height: 1px; max-width: 150px; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\"><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-32313\" src=\"https:\/\/blog-2207a.kxcdn.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/Wine-line-up-blog.jpg\" alt=\"Chablis Wine Line Up\" width=\"255\" height=\"307\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Of the wines tasted, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.leaandsandeman.co.uk\/wine\/2018-PETIT-CHABLIS-Domaine-Moreau-Naudet-36683-00.html?pack=36942&amp;term=moreau+naudet&amp;page=0&amp;sortOption=2&amp;resultsPerPage=12&amp;minResultsPerPage=12\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Moreau Naudet\u2019s 2018 Petit Chablis<\/a> was labelled great value at \u00a320.50 (by the bottle), <a href=\"https:\/\/www.leaandsandeman.co.uk\/wine\/2018-CHABLIS-Domaine-Solange-Tribut-36412-00.html?pack=37025&amp;term=tribut&amp;page=0&amp;sortOption=2&amp;resultsPerPage=12&amp;minResultsPerPage=12\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Solange Tribut\u2019s 2018 Chablis<\/a> was the most typical of the region and needed time in the cellar (\u00a329.50 by the bottle) and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.leaandsandeman.co.uk\/wine\/2017-CHABLIS-1er-Cru-Cote-de-Lechet-Domaine-Denis-Pommier-29713-00.html?pack=34415&amp;term=lechet&amp;page=0&amp;sortOption=2&amp;resultsPerPage=12&amp;minResultsPerPage=12\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Pommier\u2019s lovely Premier Cru C\u00f4te de L\u00e9chet 2017<\/a> (\u00a333.95 by the bottle) proved either that you do get what you pay for, or that all attendees have expensive taste, coming a firm favourite.<\/p>\n<p>If you would like to learn more about any of these, or indeed Chablis in general, please do email <a href=\"mailto:privateclients@leaandsandeman.co.uk\">privateclients@leaandsandeman.co.uk<\/a>.
