The L&S Team at the 2025 City Fine Wine Challenge<\/p><\/div>\n

Last Thursday marked the 20th year that L&S has sponsored the NSPCC\u2019s City Fine Wine Challenge quiz. A really proud moment for everyone involved.<\/p>\n

It was also the first time that the event had taken place at Church House in Westminster, which we hope will become the new home for the event moving forwards.<\/p>\n

Once again tables of lawyers, financiers, insurers and charities took part to win the coveted Patrick Sandeman Trophy, and this year, we had another new winner with Fenchurch clinching the closely fought title (helped along by our very own Tom Lorimer – pictured below, second one from the left).<\/p>\n

\"TomThe final net figure for this year\u2019s CFWC was over \u00a3250,000 (which goes directly to the NSPCC\u2019s Childline).
\nA huge thank you to Roxy Longworth whose speech was both inspiring and heart-breaking. A very courageous young lady who is doing so much good work for the NSPCC and Childline. Another lived experience that makes you realise how important the NSPCC and Childline are to vulnerable children.<\/p>\n

\"NSPCCHuge thanks as ever to the Event committee led by Henrietta Baldock, to Eavie Churchill, Claire Orbell, Katie Wright and their team from the NSPCC, to Quizmaster extraordinaire Matthew Jukes and to auctioneer Tom Best who were instrumental in making the L&S contribution on the wine side of the evening so successful in raising such a significant sum for NSPCC\u2019s Childline.<\/p>\n

Huge thanks too to all the L&S staff who give their time year after year to this great event, and ensure that it runs so smoothly (especially in a new venue where things are very unfamiliar).<\/p>\n
