{"id":80,"date":"2010-12-20T12:40:00","date_gmt":"2010-12-20T12:40:00","guid":{"rendered":"\/?p=80"},"modified":"2011-09-08T17:12:32","modified_gmt":"2011-09-08T17:12:32","slug":"the-big-freeze-where-s-my-icewine","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.leaandsandeman.co.uk\/blog\/2010\/12\/the-big-freeze-where-s-my-icewine\/","title":{"rendered":"THE BIG FREEZE &#8211; WHERE&#8217;S MY ICEWINE?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The big freeze hits travel plans, sporting fixtures and even Lea &amp; Sandeman wine deliveries.<\/p>\n<p>While we are doing our very best to deliver all orders we have taken in the frantically busy build up to Christmas (all those last minute orders&#8230;.) we are being severely hampered by extreme weather conditions around the country, and with more snow on the way the outlook is bleak!<\/p>\n<p>We are confident that we will get to many parts of the country at some stage this week, but we ask for your patience and understanding, all the more so if you can see that you are ice or snow bound, and hope that you might be able to make last minute provision for Christmas and the New Year in the event that our heroic drivers do not make it to your door.<\/p>\n<p>I\u00a0received a call this morning from a Mrs Norman in Taunton, who pleaded with us NOT to send our driver with her order in such heavy snow, assuring us that our driver&#8217;s safety is more important than her delivery.
