Plantation

The Plantation rum collection is the brainchild of two Frenchmen who are already owners of one of the largest cognac companies, Cognac Ferrand. It offers a wonderful introduction to the rum-making idiosyncrasies and traditions of the different Caribbean and Central American countries. All the Plantation rums are aged in old bourbon barrels in the hot humid Caribbean climate. The master blender then selects the single lots of rum for bottling under the Plantation rum brand, the rum is transferred to the company’s cellars in France where the barrels are vatted and allowed to rest and marry before bottling. Most of these rare rums are vintage dated and as they may come from lots as small as 10 barrels are only available in very limited quantities.
