Caroline Perromat describes this as "très Cérons, agrumes oranges amères, safran" - (citrus, bitter orange, saffron). Quite a delicately expressed wine in a lighter stye than most Sauternes or Barsac. Really rather lovely. L&S (Apr 2017)

*Case Price: Mix any 12 bottles of wine or 6 bottles of Champagne, Spirits or Fortified to get the 'case price' for each bottle.

Château de Cérons

A property run by Caroline and Xavier Perromat. Caroline worked at Haut Bailly for 15 years alongside Véronique Sanders - they both arrived there in 1998, but now she is working alongside her husband with his family estate. This is one to watch in the Graves, with brilliant white wine to riavl may Crus Classés, and red of superb refinement and delicacy of tannin. The 2015 and 2016 vintages show the increased volume on the palate that Caroline would like to bring to the red wines here. There is also a small volume of Cérons, the tiny appellation for sweet wine which is a bit lighter and dryer than most Sauternes.
