ABV 14.5%

A blend of 33% mixed 'old vines', 33% Afrocheiro, 18% Syrah and 18% Petit Verdot which is matured in new and used American oak barrels for 18 months. Ripe and soft with spicy fruit, this is well structured with a long finish. L&S (Apr 2011)

Terras d'Alter

Terras d'Alter is in the Alto Alentejo region in the south of Portugal, where the history of wine growing dates back to Roman times. This extensive history, and a focus which remains largely on native Portuguese varietals, is combined with the New World expertise of dynamic & enterprising winemaker Peter Bright, an Australian making wine in Portugal since 1982.
