CHÂTEAU MANOIR DU GRAVOUX

2010 Côtes de Castillon

Colour Red
Origin France, Bordeaux
District Right Bank
Sub-district Saint Emilion & Satellites
Village Côtes de Castillon
ABV 14%

From the Thienpont family of estates. The medieval Manoir of the wine's name still stands guard over the vineyards. A typical Merlot/Cabernet Franc blend; perfumed with slightly spiced red fruits, an elegant and reasonably dense palate with silky tannins. A decent little wine from the Castillon, and from a cracking vintage. L&S (Feb 2019)
