Very classical, and yet modern too. Beautifully made and crafted, a wine from the village just to the north of Saint Estephe, and made from ripe fruit grown on a terroir which gives a linear, 'straight up and down' style of Haut-Medoc, with a lovely purity. Drinking range: 2014 - 2019 Rating: 89-91 L&S (Jul 2015)
