KALI HART

2010 Pinot Noir Talbott Vineyards

Grapes Pinot Noir
Colour Red
Origin USA, California
ABV 14%

The Talbott Kali Hart Pinot Noir is a pure fruit expression of the vineyard. It is made to be bright and appealing upon release, with the fresh, cool-climate flavours that Monterey County is known for. The wine has restrained oak and excellent acidity, with rich, glossy fruit and a pleasing mouthfeel. Kali Hart is the name of Robb Talbott’s youngest daughter. L&S (Mar 2013)

Talbott Vineyards

After being inspired by a boyhood trip to Burgundy, Robb Talbott built his wine estate almost single-handedly planting vines in the rocky barren Diamond T vineyard in 1982. In 1994 he acquired Sleepy Hollow in the Santa Lucia Highlands, a phylloxera-free vineyard planted in 1972. Together with winemaker Dan Karlsen, Robb is making some of Monterey's (even California's) finest Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays.
