The 2012 Bacio Divino Proprietary Red is a superb blend of 90% Cabernet Sauvignon and the rest Sangiovese and Cabernet Franc. Dense ruby/plum/purple with notes of freshly ground pepper, bouquet garni, roasted meats, blackcurrants and cherries, this is a spicy, aromatic, ripe and singular style of wine that Bacio Divino pulls off beautifully. Drink it over the next decade. Drinking range: 2014 - 2024 Rating: 92-92 Robert Parker, The Wine Advocate, www.RobertParker.com (Oct 2014)

A small family-owned winery, located in the Napa Valley, which produces two very different proprietary red wine blends. The primary wine is called ‘Bacio Divino’, and is a Cabernet Sauvignon blend, incorporating smaller amounts of Sangiovese and Petit Sirah. A recent addition has been ‘Pazzo’, focusing more on Sangiovese, blended intimately with other varietals. Both wines are from estate grown Napa Valley fruit.
