The 2014 Moulin-Riche has simple red berry fruit mixed with cedar and earthy notes. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red fruit, light tannin with a dry and rather innocuous finish that does not really take you anywhere. It just feels rather ordinary. Tasted blind at the annual Southwold tasting. Drinking range: 2019 - 2028 Rating: 86 Neal Martin, (Mar 2018)

*Case price discount: Mix any 12 bottles (or 9l equivalent) of wine or 6 bottles of Champagne, Spirits or Fortified to get the 'case price' for each bottle.

A little sweet, muted and sweaty but certainly pleasing and easy. No rough edges. Quite flattering. Drinking range: 2020 - 2028 Rating: 16 Jancis Robinson MW OBE - 2018)

The 2014 Moulin Riche is a very pretty wine from the sister estate of the Cuvelier family, who also own Leoville-Poyferre. Medium in body, with good underlying structure, the 2014 offers notable complexity and nuance. Smoke, tobacco, licorice and a host of dark-fleshed fruit notes confer a measure of gravitas. The blend is 53 % Cabernet Sauvignon, 27 % Merlot and 20 % Petit Verdot. Drinking range: 2018 - 2029 Rating: 91-91 Antonio Galloni, 2017)
