The volume is turned up to 11 here, such character and drive with lots of concentration, boldly structured, with grip and immaculate length. Deep core of citrus, lime and mandarin, with oyster shell, and then super fine mineral drive. Mouthfilling with lovely tension, built to offer drinking pleasure long in to the 2020's. Drinking range: 2020 - 2030 L&S (Jan 2018)

Maison des Hâtes
Pierrick Laroche is a charming young man and a very talented winemaker. He owns 12 Hectares of Chablis vineyards and a complete hectare of 1er Cru 'Fourchaume L'Homme Mort', all sold under the Domaine des Hâtes label.
His négotiant business started with some recent short harvests caused by a terrible run of luck with the weather. Pierrick started buying in fruit to bulk out what he had - and to keep the cellar full. As with all his wines, these Hâtes wines are all about freshness and precision. They sold under the Maison des Hâtes label.
