One of the few truly 'Bio-Dynamic' Bordeaux we offer - Joel has been working the vineyards organically for many years and is now certified! This is a well-placed property in Moulons, on the slope facing Saint Emilion. 2016 was a super vintage in this part of the world and yet again the Duffaus have produced a bright, juicy red Bordeaux with a balance and 'real feel' lacking in many grander names from this part of the world. Joël Duffau founded Château la Mothe du Barry in the village of Moulon on the left bank of the Dordogne river, facing the Saint Emilion plateau in 1985. Certified organic since 2013.
