HERBERT HALL
2016 Rosé Brut
Grapes | Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, Chardonnay |
Colour | Rosé |
Origin | United Kingdom, England |
Classification | English Sparkling Wine |
Another exquisite beauty from owner Nick Hall and winemaker Kirsty Smith. From a tiny 4.5 Hectare property in Marden in Kent, this is a pure and beautifully rich style of Rosé. Kirsty has been immensely impressed by the Pinot Noir they have been growing for a few years now and it gives a fragrant, gently wood spiced note along with cherry, wild strawberry and raspberry depth. Lovely fruit weight on the palate, mouthfilling with a creamy mocha texture and then bright refreshing acidity giving a pleasing crispness to the finish. Drinking range: 2020 - 2025 L&S (Jun 2020)
