From a property purchased by Nicolas Thienpont in 2010, the 2017 Château Alcee is 100% Merlot planted on a limestone plateau east of Saint Emilion. Black raspberries, violets, spring flowers, and hints of minerality all flow to a medium-bodied, elegant, silky 2017 that has beautiful purity of fruit, integrated acidity, and a great finish.
