|Origin||New Zealand, South Island|
A convergence of flavours from five separate vineyards located in the Awatere, Southern Valleys and Rapaura sub regions, this is classic Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc at its finest. Harvested at optimum ripeness, the grapes were gently pressed and fermented, at cool temperatures, in stainless steel to maximise fruit purity and character. The wine was then aged on fine lees for 3 months, adding texture, complexity and increased mouth-feel to the palate. An abundance of blackcurrant, white peach and chalky aromas lead to a palate which is dry and refreshing with great concentration, beautiful fruit purity and mouth-watering acidity. L&S (May 2019)

Two Rivers of Marlborough
David Clouston is originally from Marlborough, and after 22 vintages abroad from Oregon to Chile, Corsica to Alsace, he returned home and set about exploring the valleys and diverse terroirs of Marlborough. The main production is the Sauvignon made from fruit from both the Awatere and Wairau river valleys, whence the 'Two Rivers of Marlborough' name, but his hillside Pinot Noir is showing great potential.
