A new addition to the Bruton range – as the name suggests this is a white beer. In the tradition of Germanic white beers but with a softer silkier touch. A comforting hazy cloudy blonde appearance; a light touch of sour cream, yeasty, light lemon sponge, banana candy flavours; some almost lemon/lime freshness; a charming waxy smooth texture; and a clear crisp finish. Not as sickly as some Weisse Biers can sometimes be. Likes to be served cold and refreshing. L&S (Jun 2009)

Birrifficio Bruton

Birrificio Bruton is a true micro-brewery located just outside the beautiful town of Lucca on the banks of the River Serchio. It is the brainchild of the charming Iacopo Lenci, who's family run the brilliant Maremma wine estate - Fattoria di Magliano. Iacopo is hand-crafting small batches of amazing Tuscan beers. Full of character and distinct flavours. These beers are brewed with food very much in mind. They are unfiltered and refermented in the bottle, full on flavour but with a trademark clarity of flavour and great precision. We currently have just a selection of their broad range - our top three but each of them provides a very different expression and great impact. These are beers for lovers of great drinks - wine-lovers and beer enthusiasts.
