This is a great example of Californian Chardonnay today. Clearly not from Burgundy - but also not too heavy at all. There is no unnecessary excess or pumped up flavour here, just a charming, sleek mouthful. Quite charming in its way and really good drinking, clever stuff, especially at this price level from here.
