A soft drink that will appeal to wine drinkers for its delicate aromatic character and fruity acidity. Mix with still or sparkling water, and make extra special with a squirt of lemon juice and a leaf or two of mint. Add vodka for an innocuous-tasting knock-out and great party drink. L&S (Mar 2005)

Lord John Manners' wife Mary's home-made elderflower cordial was so popular with friends and family that, in 1984, they decided to go into commercial production. A successful business, making all manner of cordials and pressés, has grown from relatively humble beginnings. But the elderflower cordial is the original and best.
