Baron Albert
For 3 generations, the Baron family have been Winegrowers and Champagne producers in Charly sur Marne, a typical village of Champagne located in the center of the Marn Valley. The Baron Albert Champagne was created in 1947 by M. Albert Baron. Nowadays, 2 generations of the Baron Albert family link their know-how and competence in order to elaborate entertaining Champagnes. As time goes by, the family are cultivating their 40 hectares of vineyards respecting the environment and producing 320 000 bottles of Champagne a year in their cellars. The vineyard is composed of 65% Pinot Meunier, 30% Chardonnay and 5% Pinot Noir, and it gives them the possibility to create 6 differents Champagnes starting with the Cuvée Tradition to the vintage, but also with a special Cuvée and a Rosé. Today, Baron Albert Champagnes represent the alliance between wisdom and youth, between dynamism and competence.

Non Vintage France
Tasted 'blind' in a line-up of inexpensive champagnes (as well as one Grande Marque) this showed remarkably well, coming out as a clear winner. Bright, light and very fresh, this is an easy drinking 'aperitif' champagne with a very good finish.
