Titus Vineyards

Titus vineyards is a small property with vineyards in two distinct areas of the Napa valley, and the 'home' winery of Eric Titus, who is in charge of the vineyards, and his brother Phillip who is winemaker at Chappellet, where he also makes the Titus wines.

Blend of 85% Zinfandel with 15% Petite Syrah, aged in 100% American oak for sixteen months. Spicy, briary red fruit, black cherry, dark chocolate, vanilla and licorice with a hint of toasty oak. Chocolate box but with fresh acidity keeping the wine lively and fresh.

Cabermet Franc blend, together with 14% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Malbec and 2% Merlot, aged in a combination of new and two year old Freck barriques for twenty months. Black cherry, violets and leaf tea on the nose, followed by a combination of dry chocolate and berry fruits on the palate.
