A level of richness up from the village wines, very fat but full of freshness. A gentle-styled wine, relaxed and subtle in its citrus fruit. L&S (Jan 2008)

A less elegant but slightly more complex and frank nose of herb, resin, earth and ripe yellow fruit aromas that possess just a hint of exoticism that are in keeping with the powerful, direct and obviously well muscled flavors blessed with good mid-palate concentration and a sappy and racy finish. Jobard Chabloz
Alongside his domaine wines Rémi offers a small range of impeccably crafted négociant wines from the nearby Côte d'Or villages. Fantastic quality across the range. From the 2004 vintage onward Rémi has decided to label these wines 'Jobard Chabloz' (Chabloz being his wife Frédérique's surname - she comes from the Jura) to differentiate them more clearly from the domaine wines.

More peppy, zippy acidity, but great rich broadness to the fruit. Yellow plums, mirabelles, confit lemon again. Gorgeous balance, very appetising.
