2010 Verdicchio Castello di Jesi Classico Andrea Felici

Grapes Verdicchio
Colour White
Origin Italy, Marche
Classification Verdicchio Castello di Jesi Classico
ABV 13%

A classic Verdicchio from the central Marche where these vines are grown on deep coastal clay soils which run down to the Adriatic. Light bodied with soft citrus fruit and a bright minerality this makes for very easy all round drinking. A delicious, well priced example. L&S (Sept 2011)

Strong skein of minerality. Off dry but a good example with lots of fruit. Rating: 16 Jancis Robinson OBE MW - www.JancisRobinson.com (Nov 2011)
