Lea & Sandeman review
A very super pair of wines from Lagrange this year. The Fiefs is sweet and restrained, not massive weight, but enough, very well-defined crisp dark red fruits, seamless, complete, delicious Saint Julien. Unlike 2000 they did sell some wine in bulk, so there is 30% less than last year. But there is probably more Fiefs de Lagrange than all the 'garagiste' wines put together, which makes it all the more impressive.
