2004 SANCTA CATHARINA Dei
2004 SANCTA CATHARINA Dei
| Grapes: Cabernet Sauvignon Syrah Petit Verdot Prugnolo Gentile | Origin: Italy, Tuscany |
Lea & Sandeman review
Caterina Dei's single vineyard blend of Prugnolo, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot, is the only wine on the estate that sees any 'barriques'. Finely textured and rich in fruit this wine always shows at its best after five years or so, and is magnificent from ten.Other reviews and comments
Pretty blackberry and currant aromas, with hints of chocolate. Medium-bodied, with fine tannins and a fruity finish. Delicious and balanced. Best after 2007
