Rich and structured, showing honey and spice. Full-bodied, with medium sweetness. Tight, firm and long.

Sweet lime sherbet with bitter orange notes. Lots of power, sweetness and richness. Some notes of green vegetation on the very back palate but overall a good debut for the new regime. Just a bit hard and green on the finish. 2013-22

Tasted blind at Southwold ’06 Bordeaux tasting. This has a lovely, well-defined bouquet with honey, lemon curd, quince and a touch of white flowers. Very good lift and expression. The palate is medium-bodied, spicy entry, good level of botrytis will real depth. Marmalade, quince and spice, viscous, botrytis-rich finish. This should age beautifully. Tasted January 2010.

Director Xavier Planty celebrated his first vintage of independence for himself and his new partners with an exceptional result. There are extremely scented, creamy, minerally notes which are echoed in the flavour - a very long flavour, showing great breed, creamy textures, concentration and real harmony. From 2012.
