2008 SPICE ROUTE Mourvèdre

Grapes: Mourvèdre  Origin: South Africa,
Lea & Sandeman review
The Spice Route wines are a new introduction to our list this Autumn and proving to be a great hit. This Mourvedre is warm and spicy, very much fruit led and without too much power. Appealing to any Rhône drinker and fabulous value.

"Ernie Els is known as the 'Big Easy' for his smooth flowing golf-swing and you can understand why they have decided to use this moniker for this more accessible cuvée from the Engelbrecht Els vineyard. A truly vibrant and scented blend of Cabernet, Shiraz, Mourvedre and Viognier. Like Ernie's swing this is velvety smooth yet has impressive power and persistent drive."
