A rounded, yet brightly fruity style of very English fizz. Good appley fresh fruit and a satisfying moreish perfectly judged finish. This is unapologetically an English sparkling wine, albeit made with Champagne Grpaes and in the Champagne Method. The 2013 is floral and bright with good crunchy shape to the fruit, it delivers a really great glass of bubbles.

*Case Price: Mix any 12 bottles of wine or 6 bottles of Champagne, Spirits or Fortified to get the 'case price discount' for each bottle. Free mainland delivery for all orders over £100.

On the 2010 vintage - this is the finest debut English sparkling wine that I have ever tasted. It is a very wistful and romantic creation. The aroma is sensational and while it is a little youthful right now, it will develop into a sensational drop over the next two years. Tasted alongside the newly released 2002 Veuve Clicquot vintage it looked twice the wine at half the price!

A nine acre vineyard in Marden, Kent, owned by Nick Hall, and named by him in memory of Herbert, his grandfather. Planted with 40% Chardonnay and 30% each of Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, and farmed organically. Handmade, Traditional Method. Primary fermentation in stainless steel tanks with 10% of the blend fermented in oak barrels. Secondary fermentation in bottle. Malolactic fermentation adds richness while retaining the integrity of the fruit.
