Lea & Sandeman review
Livernano's 'Livernano' is a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Sangiovese. An immensely elegant wine and drinking really well now.Other reviews and comments
Currants and berries here, with mineral and floral character. Medium-bodied, with a solid core of fruit and tannins and a pretty, fruity finish. This shows class. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Sangiovese
91/100
The Wine Spectator
Livernano did not obtain its fourth Tre Bicchieri award in a row. The arithmetical average of the scores at our tastings left Marco Montanari's winery less that one percentage point short of another top award. Still there are no doubts about the high quality and excellent style of this ever elegant and eminently drinkable wine. A nose full of ripe blackberries that mingles with some spicy tones. In the mouth, it shows elegance, progressing with increasing intensity to a finish of great depth and clarity.
