Lots of plummy fruit. Hints of violet follow through to a full body, with chewy tannins and a medium finish. Slightly hollow midpalate, but pretty. Almost 89-91. Let's wait and see.

James Suckling, The Wine Spectator
Pretty dark crimson. Rich and round and lively, Pretty impressive balance. A little sharp in terms of acidity but good ripe fruit into which a great deal of effort has obviously gone. Thick and quite rich though pretty stolid - a considerable proportion of press wine apparently. 2015-24

This elegant 2006 reveals abundant amounts of spring flower, sweet cherry, black currant, earth, and licorice characteristics along with fine ripeness, an ethereal, delicate style, beautiful concentration and purity, and a savory texture. It should easily keep for 15 or more years.
90-93/100
Robert Parker, The Wine Advocate
Fine depth of fruit showing Margaux finesse, but a bit leafy and much firmer in style than 2005, ripe tannins will lead to a good future. 2012-20.
