2006 LAGUNA DE LA NAVA Old Vines Reserva Bodegas Navarro Lopez
2006 LAGUNA DE LA NAVA Old Vines Reserva Bodegas Navarro Lopez
| Grapes: Tempranillo | Origin: Spain, Valdepeñas |
Lea & Sandeman review
A fantastic Tempranillo from the Valdepenas region, with five years bottle age so that it is showing exceptionally well. Aged twelve months in a combination of French and American oak, the palate displays mature notes with soft berry fruits and vanillin sweetness, with enough fresh acidity to carry through for a really good finish.| Purchasing options | |||||||

"One of our best selling and longest standing wines, Marius is a blend of Tempranillo, Monastrell, Garnacha and Syrah, which is aged a year in wood, and 10 months in bottle (so it qualifies as a Reserva) and tastes more like Rioja than many of the modern 'sin-Crianza' wines from Rioja. "
