Lea & Sandeman review
Very sweet and flowing, as usual for the Nuits it is structured and intense but there is nothing scratchy or aggressive about it.Other reviews and comments
Here the fruit profile is slightly riper but loses no sense of freshness or expressiveness with both earth and spice nuances that add aromatic depth and this depth continues onto the rich, full, vibrant and nicely powerful flavors that possess excellent volume yet despite the size, this is actually quite refined with the best
phenolic ripeness to this point. In a word, terrific and definitely recommended. 2016+

Deep red with ruby highlights. Subdued but pure nose dominated by black cherry and dark berries. Broad, ripe and sturdy, with dark fruit flavors complicated by spices and earth. Compared to the Suchots this is chunky and a bit less aromatically diverse in the mouth, but it boasts excellent fat for the year. Finishes with building tannins and strong red fruits. I like the fact that these premier crus are aging in only 25% new oak.
