Pure lychee - succulent, sweet fruit and juicy, full palate. Lovely balance and purity. Opulent but still refreshing.

The Deiss generic 2007 Gewurztraminer represents numerous parcels, favoring Bergheim. Rose petal, sweet pea, celery root, mint, lavender, and brown spices migrate from the nose to an oily, quite voluminous palate and a soothing yet tactilely stimulating, significantly sweet finish (from around 35 grams residual sugar) that nevertheless evinces just a hint of heat. I would recommend enjoying this over the next 3-4 years
