Lea & Sandeman review
'Tri Hauts de Chavigne' is a selection from the first day's harvest. Truly spectacular.Other reviews and comments
Vivid yellow. Powerfully scented bouquet of oak-spiced pear, melon and tangerine, with exotic floral, saffron and iodine qualities gaining strength with air. Firm, spicy, mineral-driven citrus and orchard fruit flavors are given spine by zesty mineral and white pepper qualities. The finish is sappy, nervy and strikingly long. There's a Chablis-like tension to this wine that bodes well for cellaring.

A discreet hint of oak highlights a fresher and brighter nose that is intensely floral in character while transitioning into rich, full, concentrated and focused medium-bodied flavors that seem cut from a block of stone before culminating in an explosive and palate staining finish that goes on and on. Truly a special wine for the appellation. 2011+
