2008 LE G DE GUIRAUD Bordeaux Blanc
2008 LE G DE GUIRAUD Bordeaux Blanc
| Grapes: Sauvignon Blanc Sémillon | Origin: France, Bordeaux |
Lea & Sandeman review
The dry wine from Château Guiraud in Sauternes. A wonderful combination of classic rich honey and lemon drops, with fresh acidity and just a hint of toasty oak make this such a great alternative at this price level.Other reviews and comments
Bordeaux's fame rests on its reds and sweet whites, but the region has a long tradition of making distinctly individual dry whites, too. This is a full-flavoured, gently oaked, blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon from a producer better known for its Sauternes, with a long pink grapefruit and honey finish. September 2010
