Lea & Sandeman review
This wine is a white like Châteauneuf du Pape Blanc ought to taste, but so rarely does. A very Châteauneuf mixture of six grape varieties, Viognier, Grenache Blanc, Picpoul, Bourboulenc, Roussanne, Clairette, and Marsanne gives a sappy, spicy, really interesting and satisfying mid-weight mouthful.Other reviews and comments
Known for his Tavel rosés, Christophe Delorme's Liracs also top their AC. Grenache Blanc, Viognier, Roussanne, Marsanne, Picpoul, Bourboulenc, and Clairette give freshness, florality, stone fruits and minerality. 'Best Old World White' in March 2009 Decanter.

The 2008 Lirac La Reine des Bois blanc is outstanding. Readers should keep in mind that 2008 is a far superior vintage for this appellation’s white wines as opposed to the reds. This blend of 30% Grenache, 15% Viognier, 15% Roussanne, and the rest Marsanne, Picpoul, Clairette, and Bourboulenc exhibits beautiful sweet peach marmalade, honeysuckle, and white currant notes presented in an elegant, crisp, medium to full-bodied style with lots of zest and vibrancy. Drink it over the next 1-2 years.
