Lea & Sandeman review
A new wine in the Jobard Domaine portfolio, a vineyard from which Remi used to buy the crop. Very ripe inviting nose, ripe and round and quite a buttery and open style, clean and correct and good balance. Forty year-old vines.Other reviews and comments
(this is a new wine for Jobard, from a parcel of vines around 50 years of age in Narvaux Dessous) Soft citrus and spice scents. Rich, creamy and sweet, but with lively acidity giving relief to the nearly unctuous flavors. Very Meursault in character, and very sexy. The soft citrus and spice flavors carry through to the persistent, very tactile finish.

This has more personality on the nose than Remi Jobard’s other Meursault, with toffee apple, creme brulee and nectarine aromas. The palate has a crisp entry, citrus acidity, touches of nectarine and peach, just a little disjointed towards the finish.

Solid and earthbound – a big mouthful but not very subtle.

This large parcel is new in 2008. The work of the grower was good, but Remi will do more. 'It is giving good grapes at the moment, but they are quite large.' Remi plans to decrease the rendement.
A bit brooding on the aroma. Nicely compact, full, quite layered with ripe fruit and limey acidity. This still has some malic. This has a more austere structure and stony, slight severe finish. Looks promising. Very good+. From 2011
