Lea & Sandeman review
Like the Mâcon Chaintré, the Alliance is sold under the name of Julien Barraud, Daniel and Martine's son. A combination of some small parcels, all in the village of Vergisson, it offers a balanced, rounded cuvée.Other reviews and comments
One of the richer noses among 2008s. Seems almost sweet on the front palate - quite an achievement. Mouthfilling and substantial.

Strong fermentation aromas render the nose impossible to evaluate fairly but the rich, full and powerful flavors display plenty of dry extract that completely buffers the firm acid backbone that accentuates the obvious stoniness on the wonderfully intense and mineral-driven finish. Definitely worth considering. 2013+
