Lea & Sandeman review
If les Crays is like Chassagne, this is a big Meursault style, broad, richly oaky and fruity, full but still Burgundian, with an inner stiffness, chewy and long.Other reviews and comments
Round and racy. This one dances and tells jokes. Very entertaining and complete. Obviously very competent vine growing to squeeze this amount of fruit out of 2008.

(65+ year old vines near Solutré that face north east). A very fresh nose that is also pure and elegant offers up notes of citrus and lightly spiced pear before revealing very serious, dense and fullbodied flavors that display excellent volume on the complex, palate coating and powerfully long finish. As it usually is, this is the biggest wine in the Barraud range but it’s explosive and balanced. Worth a look. 2014+

Lovely bright pale yellow, broad and classy with a touch of Puligny-Montrachet elegance, a very good wine, all of a piece with great potential complexity. Drink 2011-15.
