Lea & Sandeman review
More closed on the nose than the village Puligny, it seems to smell of rock crystal. An extraordinary driven mineral purity which makes one think of a long future. Possibly the most mineral vintage of this wine I have ever tried, and yet it is still inviting, succulent.Other reviews and comments
A little bit of honey and drama but not as much as on old bottling of this from JM Boillot. Lots of acidity and bone dry. Substantial!

Rather inexpressive on the nose, hinting at soft citrus fruits. Then powerfully minerally in the mouth in spite of a rather silky texture, with strong acidity contributing to the impression of energy. Still youthfully compact, and best today on the very dry, very long finish, where the wine's superb density calls for extended aging. The acidity here, according to Boillot, is 5.85 grams per liter-certainly one of the higher numbers I heard in Burgundy this spring.

This is well defined on the nose, granite, kiwi, Granny Smith with just a hint of white tipped asparagus. The palate is well balanced, great minerality and acidity, with a underlying biscuit element that comes through on the persistent finish. Excellent.
