Cleverly made Sangiovese rosato combining fresh fruit and bright acidity, keeping it crisp, fresh and very food friendly. Piero achieves this by using two thirds free run juice from the main harvest of Sangiovese (destined for the Chianti), combined with one third from an early harvesting of fruit (in the first week of September) which because of lower sugar levels allows him to make a rosato which is fresh, bright and not too alcoholic.
