Lea & Sandeman review
Rich and quite chocolatey on the nose, still fresh on the palate. 'Gourmand' as the French would say - supple, round and a point of sweetness, slightly decadently rich, for drinking young.Other reviews and comments
(45 to 50 year old vines). A highly complex nose of pepper, earth, violets, dark berry fruit and menthol hints gives way to suave and very rich flavors that possess an abundance of dry extract on the equally complex and palate coating finish. This isn’t overly precise but it offers a lush mouth feel and excellent depth for what this is. Worth a look. 2014+
