Lea & Sandeman review
Here there is no marl - it's on pure limestone. Such texture. This is special. Crushed rocks, liquid crystal, weighty yet still cool like a dense stone from a riverbed. Ultimately fresh and pure.Other reviews and comments
Lightly honeyed nose. Then some green notes. Still quite youthful. Still a little aggressive, but full, rich and sweet and a bit heavy. Good to come across a white Maconnais with a future.

The La Roche is very elegant on the nose, akin to a fine Chassagne in many ways. The palate is very fresh and rounded on the entry, lovely peach and lemon curd flavours, quite fat in the mouth with a soft, caressing finish that is utterly irresistible. Su-bloody-perb.

Here too strong secondary fermentation aromas render the nose difficult to evaluate but the powerful, dense and palate staining flavors are impressively broad-scaled and deliver excellent persistence. 2014+
